When I joined Denver Youth Program in 2008, I never thought that I would become the Executive Director leading this team of dedicated staff through challenging, yet amazing, times including the current re-branding of the organization to better fit the needs of the communities we serve, and to showcase our strengths, growth, and sustainability.

To date, we have served several thousand youth who have experienced trauma and interaction with the youth justice system. While sometimes it feels as if we do not have the space to ‘breathe’ during this unprecedented time around youth and safety, we are on our way to serve as a compassionate ear and advocate for youth, for their families, for communities who may be experiencing trauma.
