ABOUT
The Metro Denver Partners Mentoring Program, established in 1968, serves as our flagship initiative. This program offers community-based support services to at-risk youth. These young individuals are referred to us due to negative behaviors and activities reported either at school or at home.
These issues can include parental incarcerations, involvement in the juvenile/youth justice system, historical substance abuse within their families or substance abuse issues they themselves are experiencing, and criminal gang involvement.
The Partners Mentoring Program serves girls and boys from 9-17 years of age, and are matched with an adult volunteer, and initial referrals can come from school teachers, social workers, Department of Human Services, and mental health agencies.
