DaiJa Lewis supports DYP as the administrative assistant and Hummingbird Program Manager for Aurora Central High School. DaiJa has been working with the Hummingbirds since 2023. Education and opportunity creation is important to DaiJa; she cares about the future of our youth and the communities. DaiJa works to organize and implement systems to improve the lives of the future generations through education, science, health, and mentorship. DaiJa is a Howard University graduate and cares about minorities learning and experiencing life in environments that are conducive and relate to their background. In DaiJa’s free-time, she is working out, traveling, or taking late night drives while listening to her favorite tunes. Her favorite saying is “nothing’s wrong”. DaiJa likes to think optimistically and find light in all situations.
