Andrew Garcia supports DYP as the My Outdoor Colorado (MOC) Coordinator. Andrew has been with the MOC coalition since 2024 and coordinates its efforts to reduce barriers and increase access to outdoor experiences for historically underresourced communities in Denver. As an educator, Andrew specializes in oudoor equity and college access. He has a Master of Education degree from The University of Washington in curriculum and instruction with a focus on nonprofit management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pitzer College in Economics and Psychology. In his free time, Andrew enjoys being outside. Whether it is a walk around his neighborhood or hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, being outside is Andrew’s way of relaxing and clearing his mind. His favorite outdoor activites are cycling, hiking, and snowboarding.
